Ebru is the traditional Turkish art of creating colourful patterns by sprinkling and brushing colour pigments onto a pan of oily water and the transferring the patters to paper. Known as marblings , the designs and effects included flowers, foilage , ornamentation ,latticework , mosques and moons , and are used for decoraton in the traditional art of bookbinding.

Serkan Sogukpinar will take you on a colourful musical journey around the world with the distinctive sound of his Bouzouki. From emotional melodies and romantic waltzes to nostalgic tangos and classical showpieces, his lively repertoire will delight all ages and tastes.
In addition to playing the Bouzouki with flair he is also an accomplished guitarist. With 25 years' experience playing in restaurants, bars and hotels, Serkan is a seasoned performer. He offers a high caliber of musical entertainment that appeals to all audiences.

DJ AB has been working as a professional DJ since 2006.
He performed with many musicians and in clubs in Turkey. DJ EYBI continues his work in Canada since 2015.

We are pleased to introduce the orchestra, the Melodious Mandolins. They will be on the stage at the Turkic Festival on May26, 2019 at the Shipyard North Vancouver.
They play old-time tunes and folk songs from around the world, with some occasional classical and seasonal flavour thrown in for good measure. We heard that these talented musicians have some Turkish tunes to play at the festival. We can not wait to have them playing for Turkic World Spring Festival.
We are very happy to welcome Aytan Vakili Azar with her friend Arshan Vafadar at the 3rd Turkic World Spring Festival.
Aytan is only 10 years old grade 4 student and she moved to Vancouver 5 years ago. Arshan is 11 years old . These young talents will perform an Azerbaijan couple dance.
We are please to announce that Adalat Dance Company will perform a Uyghur dances with an adult dancer group and kids’ dancer group. Don’t miss their performance.
Adalat Omar is a professional dancer, choreographer and Dance Instructor graduated from the Xinjiang Uyghur Art Institute’s Dance Faculty. Adalat is international well-known with her professional Uyghur Traditional Dance and Middle Eastern Oriental Dance. She was one of the main dancers on popular TV series ‘’Shimmy’’.
We are eager to announce that Mustafa Kemal Akar ve Mutlu Bahar Neyzen wil be joinning to 3rd Turkic Spring Festival at the Shipyard North Vancouver.
They play traditional Turkish folk music. We recommend to all Canadian friends to come and watch them performing on May 26, 2019.
